Gianluca was born in Pisa. He saw his first Hair show at the age of 4 with his mother, a really renowned hairdresser in Tuscany. He started his career in the family business, trained in Pivot Point and then moved to London when he was 18 years old where he attended Vidal Sassoon Academy.
Since very young age he was assistant of some of the most important Hair stylists in the world like Tim Hartley and Angelo Seminara.
In London he mastered hair cutting and hairdressing working with great mentors.
After 3 years he moved back to Italy to run the hair salon brand Pucci.
He has collaborated with Pitti in Florence for many years and always been researching in fashion.
Gianluca entered Davines education team and became a trainer. He got really early into the International Artistic Team, where he stayed for 10 years doing shows, seminars, masterclasses worldwide for Davines and the hairdressing industry, creating his own collections and methods, receiving awards like the Vogue Beauty Talent in 2013 and the Italian Hairdressing Awards in 2018 for Best Collection.
He was Global Artistic Director for Monacelli Italy.
Now he’s based in Milan working with fashion brands and magazines and traveling all around the world inspiring other hairdressers.
He keeps learning and growing his craft and his work is influenced by contemporary fashion designers, architecture, art, photographers, by the past icons and by a futuristic visionary mind.
